
Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work interested in working in the field of occupational rehabilitation. Our consultancy assists in matching skilled candidates to their perfect and desired job.
About the Role:
- Clinical assessments involve understanding health and injury history, past/current treatment, prognosis, employment and skills history, barriers, strengths, and goals. This includes suitable work duties.
- Reporting involves work capacity, treatment recommendations, evidence-based solutions, stakeholder liaison, health coaching (CBT principles), return to health/work plans, and job preparation and seeking.
- Specialized consultancy includes ergonomic assessments, injury prevention and management, vocational assessments, labour market research, mental health training, and EAP services.
- Ongoing case management involves health coaching, client education, progress evaluation, RTW plans, job preparation and seeking, accurate documentation and reporting, service level agreement adherence, and utilization of rehabilitation assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have or be eligible for professional registration (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, ASORC) and a current driver's license with a reliable mode of transport.
