Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated occupational rehabilitation specialist to join our team in Townsville. The successful candidate will possess experience in conducting assessments, case management services, and interacting with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, or rehabilitation counseling, with a focus on assisting injured individuals with recovery, return to work, and life following injury or illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop effective case management plans;
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination;
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to support clients' recovery and return to work;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other relevant parties to promote positive outcomes;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress and program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, or Rehabilitation Counsellor registration/accreditation;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders;
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities;
