At Impel Management, we're seeking a skilled Insurance Retention Specialist to help us maintain strong relationships with our existing clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to retain their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to existing customers to discuss their current insurance policies, address any concerns, and offer solutions to retain their business.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce churn and increase customer loyalty.
  • Handle cancellation requests, identify underlying issues, and work to resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and claims teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors to provide informed advice to customers.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and retention efforts.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team retention targets.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a retention role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and resolve customer concerns in a calm and professional manner.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations is an advantage.
