The Psychologist works closely with children and young people who require tailored support, as well as their families.

Developing evidence-based psychology interventions is a crucial aspect of this role, encompassing proactive, targeted, and intensive strategies adapted for various contexts.

This position operates under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist.

  • Essential qualifications: Current and full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Noteworthy conditions include the requirement for a Department for Human Services working with children check, which must be renewed every five years prior to employment expiry.

Additionally, the incumbent will undertake professional development through courses like RRHAN–EC Facilitator Lead or online training, updating it every three years.
