Key Responsibilities
  • Promote health and wellbeing through the use of health promotion, health surveillance, and early intervention strategies.
  • Work with families and communities to identify and address health needs.
  • Develop and implement effective health programs and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient interactions and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possession of or substantial progression towards a Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing.
  • Understanding of the principles of primary health care and its application to practice.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal and culturally linguistically diverse communities.
