As a Clinical Nurse specializing in Child Health, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the well-being of children and families in regional areas. Key Responsibilities:- Promote the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion, health surveillance and early intervention strategies that are based on the principles of Primary Health care and service priorities.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and promote a positive work environment.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families and carers to ensure excellent communication and patient outcomes.
- Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing through an accredited educational institution.
- Understanding of the Principles of Primary Health Care and its application to practice.
- Effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across a diverse spectrum of the population.
- Knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal and culturally linguistically diverse communities in regional areas.
