Retail Site Director

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our retail site, delivering exceptional customer service and driving team performance.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead the daily operations of our busy fuel and convenience outlet, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the site team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Overseeing daily site operations, including fuel, food, and convenience store areas
- Monitoring and controlling stock, ordering, merchandising, and wastage
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and EH&S standards and procedures
- Managing staff rosters, recruitment, training, and performance
- Volume cash handling and reconciliations
- Food management supervision (including hygiene and food presentation)
- Ensuring the site is always clean, well-presented, and operating efficiently
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a retail or fuel station leadership position
- Strong people management and staff development skills
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and improving customer satisfaction
- Ability to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
