Job Overview

A Site Operations Manager is needed to lead the daily activities of a high-traffic fuel and convenience outlet. This role involves ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-centric environment while driving team performance and maintaining high operational standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the site team in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Oversee daily site operations including fuel, food, and convenience store areas
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ordering, merchandising, and waste management
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental health standards
  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance
  • Cash handling and reconciliations
  • Food management supervision (including hygiene and presentation)
  • Maintain a clean, well-presented, and efficiently operating site

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or fuel station leadership role
  • Strong people management and staff development skills
  • A passion for success and commitment to excellence
  • Excellent communication across all levels
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 18kgs)
  • A flexible attitude that will adapt to business growth and change
  • Focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays
