Childcare Culinary Specialist

This role involves preparing meals for children in a childcare setting, promoting healthy eating habits and food safety. Key responsibilities include menu planning, ordering supplies, and working with the Centre Director to ensure high standards are met.

• Deliver exceptional culinary experiences for young customers, focusing on nutritious meals and influencing their eating habits
• Manage inventory and place orders for food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain strict food safety protocols, ensuring all storage, handling, and preparation of food is hygienic
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Director to plan menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
• Contribute to a safe environment by being aware of potential allergens and special dietary requirements
• Adhere to part-time roster, Monday to Friday, without night shifts or split duties

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking in childcare settings
