Student Placements Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Student Placements Officer to join our team at Swinburne University of Technology. Reporting to the Team Leader of Student Engagement and Experience, you will play a key role in delivering impactful student engagement activities and providing essential support for our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.
In this role, you will work closely with academic staff, students, and industry partners to enhance the quality of WIL opportunities. You will implement administrative, systems, data, and communication activities to boost student participation and success. Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert for WIL processes and collaborate across the university to facilitate access to WIL opportunities.
About YouTo be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in the following key areas:
- Providing high-quality administrative and support services in a demanding customer-focused environment
- Demonstrating high-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively deal with clients in a highly confidential and professional manner
- Developing advanced skills in MS Office and experience in using various data and information management systems, with a willingness to learn new systems and assist in training other team members
- Exhibiting exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy
