VET Student Placement Opportunity

About the Role
Yooralla is committed to supporting practice placements for the development of an experienced and qualified disability sector workforce. As a VET student, you will have the opportunity to apply the theory and skills gained while studying in a professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meals, and household tasks.
- Support individuals with disabilities in a supervised learning environment.
- Develop skills in communication, record management, and initiative.
- Work collaboratively with a great team environment and full supervision.
About You
If you are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities to manage their own lifestyles and live the life they choose, we encourage you to apply. You will be completing a certificate IV in disability through a recognised RTO or university and be interested in ongoing employment opportunities following the successful completion of your placement.
Requirements
- Completed online application.
- Placement agreement signed by the relevant parties.
- NDIS worker screening check.
- Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001).
- Evidence of your ability to work in Australia following your placement.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (If Relevant).
- Australian driver's licence.
- International Police Check (If Relevant).
