Placement Officer

La Trobe University is seeking a highly motivated and organized Placement Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Placement Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the placement of over 10,000 students each year, while also managing the administration of agreements for more than 18,000 placements annually.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of student placements, ensuring timely and effective placement of students in work-based learning experiences.
- Provide high-quality professional advice and customer service to students and partners, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the placement process.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve placement targets and contribute to the development of placement strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, maintaining up-to-date records of student placements and agreements.
- Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level proficiency in computer software packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and electronic mail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution-oriented approach.
