As a First Nations Partnership Associate, you will provide guidance and advice on cultural practices and protocols to The Snow Foundation team. You will work collaboratively with our First Nations cultural advisor to ensure that our initiatives are culturally sensitive and effective.

You will also provide project management support and administration, including stakeholder engagement, cultural considerations, travel and logistics, events, meetings, merchandise, and permissions. Additionally, you will assist and support the organization of events, in collaboration with Marketing and Communication, focused on awareness raising and advocacy.

You will provide administrative support as required and establish and maintain strong and transparent relationships with First Nations communities and stakeholders.

You will also research key First Nations social and economic justice and empowerment issues and developments in government policy, media, and advocacy circles and communicate these as directed with internal and external stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will support forecasting and planning for national grants and submissions for approval/payment within a timely manner and understand and use the Grants Management system to ensure partnerships and grants are correctly managed and updated.
