**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, supporting, and developing the local music industry by nurturing careers, creating pathways, and delivering industry and professional development opportunities. This role encompasses corporate branding, positioning, and profile management, as well as identifying and cultivating sponsorship and philanthropic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or media
  • Prior experience as a marketing or communications manager or high-level coordinator
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles, methodologies, and trends, with experience in developing and delivering successful campaigns and outcomes
  • Interest in the contemporary music industry and awareness of marketing and promotions principles
  • Experience in managing diverse marketing projects, programs, and activities in a dynamic environment
  • Outstanding literacy and computing skills, including copywriting and creative content generation
  • Understanding of budgeting, revenue, and expense control, as well as invoice management
  • Ability to facilitate positive relationships with partners, stakeholders, and industry networks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to think creatively and develop innovative marketing solutions

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deliver effective marketing strategies to promote MusicSA and the South Australian music industry
  • Manage corporate branding, positioning, and profile across digital and print platforms
  • Cultivate sponsorship and philanthropic partnerships to support MusicSA's goals
  • Oversee website management, social media, and publicity channels
  • Manage budgets and financial responsibilities

**Working with MusicSA:**

MusicsA is a not-for-profit organisation committed to promoting, supporting, and developing the local music industry. As a Marketing & Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team to make a real difference in the community.

**Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience
