Job Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Payments Sales Officer to lead and manage our payments sales strategy for existing and prospective clients in the financial institution sector in Australia and New Zealand.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we drive growth and expansion in the payments market. As Chief Payments Sales Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that meets or exceeds annual sales targets;
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve target sales goals;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities;
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, client services, and implementation, to deliver sales solutions that meet customer needs;
  • Manage and supervise the entire sales process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of sales results.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales results through effective account planning, pipeline development, and sales execution;
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activity to ensure our sales approach remains competitive;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the payments industry;
  • Exceptional sales management skills, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing sales teams;
  • Strong knowledge of payments products and services, including core cash clearing, foreign exchange, liquidity management, trade, and working capital solutions;
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or finance.
