SA Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Workforce Finance Officer to join our team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and services to our clinical workforce, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments to medical practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurate and timely processing of payments to medical practitioners in accordance with the Rural General Practitioner Agreement, Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), and relevant Taxation legislation.
- Monitoring medical practitioners' credentials and scope of practice to ensure they are current and applicable to the clinical services approved.
- Identifying and recording items requiring clinical/general audit to ensure data mismatches are reviewed in line with the Clinical Workforce Finance Audit requirements.
- Monitoring medical practitioners' agreements and Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) to ensure current and accurate against their business registration details and Taxation Legislation.
- Contributing to policy development, system reviews, and improvements.
- Providing backup and overflow assistance for other revenue services processes and functions from time to time.
- Strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
