Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the Access Team to deliver high-quality care
- Drive clinical excellence through effective intake, assessment, and clinical services
- Support young people, families, and professionals through comprehensive intake, assessment, and consultation
- Foster collaboration through smooth intake and referral processes
- Innovate and develop evidence-based brief interventions and group interventions
Requirements:
- Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing) and have full registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with AASW
- Leadership & Supervision: Proven experience in providing leadership, supervision, and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team
- Mental Health Expertise: Extensive experience in mental health assessments, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and evidence-based treatment for young people facing mental health or substance use challenges
- Legislation & Policy Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant legislation, government policies, and strategic directions related to mental health, particularly in youth settings
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Advanced decision-making and risk management skills with a track record of creatively solving complex problems, particularly in early intervention
