Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Continuing Care Team (CCT) at Alfred Health. As a senior clinician, you will provide clinical assessment, intervention, case-management, and therapy to young people presenting with or at risk of developing early psychosis.

About the Role

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team environment that supports your growth and development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical assessments and interventions to young people with early psychosis
  • Facilitating family involvement and support
  • Supporting the clinical and operational leadership of the team
  • Ensuring clinical work is completed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership with the relevant professional registering body (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, Psychology Board of Australia, or Australian Association of Social Workers)
  • Extensive experience providing mental health and Alcohol and other Drug assessment and intervention in partnership with young people and families
  • Australian working rights
  • Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
