About the Role
The Next Step is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic People Leader to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's capability and future. Your expertise in driving organisational change and digital transformation initiatives will be invaluable in helping us achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Strategic People Leader, you will be responsible for leading cultural change, ensuring capability uplift, and fostering an engaged and productive workforce. You will work closely with our executive team to develop and deliver programs to enhance employee development, performance, and engagement. Your key deliverables will include rolling out leadership development, completing remuneration benchmarking, and ensuring top talent retention at market-competitive rates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven HR leadership within highly regulated industries, with experience navigating the complexities of small, dynamic businesses.
- Extensive experience in driving organisational change and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong track record in developing leadership capabilities at the executive and senior management level.
- In-depth expertise in NSW employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated success in leading cultural transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in workforce planning, remuneration frameworks, and reward programs.
- Experience with ESG practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with exceptional boards and executive teams.
- Extensive experience as a trusted advisor to CEOs, demonstrating strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proven experience in running HR operations.
