We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Skilled Jobs Australia. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading the Front Office operation to achieve exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. **Lead the Front Office Team:** Supervise and motivate the Front Office team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  2. **Manage Front Office Operations:** Oversee the efficient management of front desk operations, including reservations, guest arrivals, and departures.
  3. **Drive Sales Growth:** Collaborate with the Sales Department to drive sales growth and achieve targets within the Front Office team.
  4. **Maintain High Standards:** Ensure the Front Office system is utilized effectively, and accurate reports are produced to meet operational needs.
  5. **Liaise with Departments:** Regularly liaise with Maintenance and other departments to ensure guest needs are met and maintenance requests are completed quickly.
  6. **Night Audit Function:** Operate an effective night audit function, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining customer focus.
  7. **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare Front Office recurring reports, commenting on key performance indicators and providing insights for improvement.
  8. **Support Housekeeping and Maintenance:** Support Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure room cleanliness standards and resort assets are maintained while meeting productivity goals.
  9. **Public Area Maintenance:** Ensure public areas are clean and well-presented, with regular monitoring and management support visible on the Front Desk and in the lobby.
  10. **Compliance and WHS:** Adhere to WHS and Compliance procedures and policies, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office management role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
