Job Description

We are seeking a Guest Services Professional to join our team at the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences. As a vital member of our Guest Services Team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay at our hotel.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized service to our guests, responding to their requests and needs with urgency and care. You will also be responsible for welcoming guests on arrival, assisting them during their stay, and ensuring a smooth departure process.

In addition to providing excellent customer service, you will be responsible for maintaining current information on all hotel services and external locations, attractions, and landmarks in the hotel vicinity. This includes being able to assist across departments when required and supporting social distancing throughout the public areas of the hotel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • A genuine flair for customer service and the ability to create connections with people from all walks of life.
  • Previous experience working within the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent personal presentation and well-groomed to meet the standards of a luxury hotel.
  • Strong communication skills and energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to take ownership to delight our guests.
  • Full Driver's License and a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD) certification.
