Aviation Security Specialist

We are seeking an Aviation Screening Officer to join our team at Sydney Airport. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff.

Job DescriptionAs an Aviation Screening Officer, your duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to passengers and staff
- Loading bags onto X-ray machines
- Monitoring X-ray images for prohibited items
- Conducting frisk searches on individuals
- Searching physical bags for prohibited items
- Monitoring walk-through metal detectors
- Operating Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional conduct
- A valid NSW driver's license and vehicle (for early morning shifts)
- A security license (1AC) preferred but not mandatory
