Academic Rheumatology Leader

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Full-time 3-year academic rheumatology position.
- Leads research in Rheumatology and undertakes teaching and assessment for MD students.
- Candidates with clinical experience/expertise complementing the existing interests of the Rheumatology Department will be considered.
- Develops and maintains a clinical, translational or basic science research program relevant to Rheumatology.
- Promotes a culture that is collaborative, team-oriented and respects skill sets and opinions of all staff.
- PhD in a field relevant to Rheumatology.
- Registered medical practitioner in NSW with recognition by AHPRA as a Specialist Rheumatologist and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, or equivalent.
- Emerging national/international reputation and research track record, including publications in peer-reviewed international journals and success in obtaining research funding and supervision of research students.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives within Rheumatology.
Unrestricted work rights in Australia are required for the duration of this employment.
