We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Professor to join our Rheumatology Department at Westmead Hospital. The successful candidate will lead a clinical, translational or basic science research program in Rheumatology, provide leadership in developing education programs for MD students, and contribute to the department's activities.

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD in a relevant field, registration as a medical practitioner in NSW, and recognition by AHPRA as a Specialist Rheumatologist. You should also have a strong research track record, experience in designing teaching initiatives, and a network of relationships with key academic and professional institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a clinical, translational or basic science research program in Rheumatology">
  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and promotion of clinical/education programs for MD students relating to Rheumatology">
  • Contribute to the department's activities, including providing clinical care and promoting a culture that is collaborative, team-oriented and respectful of all staff">

Requirements:
