Job Title: Health Sector Digital Transformation Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead digital transformations in the health sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems development and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.

About the Job

This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for leading and delivering digital transformations at a portfolio, program, or project level. You will work closely with top industry experts to develop impactful solutions that improve lives and drive transformation in the health sector.

  • Define and implement future state operating models for business units and functions to better align with strategic goals, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct options analysis', detailed business case development, and funding submissions for local, state, and federal departments and providers.
  • Manage and implement technology-enabled transformational change that improves the day-to-day lives of providers and patients.
Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering digital transformations at a portfolio, program, or project level, with knowledge and experience in traditional or agile Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and end-to-end project delivery.
  • Confidence and experience in leading and working within large and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • An understanding of digital technologies, applications, and industry best practices within health and human services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to apply structured thinking and dynamic approaches to problem-solving.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, system development, and project management.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or health informatics.
  • Project Management certification e.g. Prince2, MSP, PMBoK, Agile (desirable).
