About the Role
Suncorp Group is seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and drive commercial outcomes. As a key member of our Claims team, you will play a critical role in supporting customers during challenging times and finding solutions that get their lives back on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Review workplace injury claims and assess liability, ensuring timely and effective management of claims to a return-to-work outcome.
- Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to inform accurate claim assessments.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and timeframes, while adopting strategies to resolve claims cost-effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured workers, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Previous claims management and customer service experience, with a track record of delivering results.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers.
- Strong priority management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, build rapport, and communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
- Well-developed administrative and written skills, with the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within legislative constraints.
