About the Role

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a skilled Return to Independence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals who have experienced a workplace injury towards a successful return to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized face-to-face services to injured workers, employers, and treating medical practitioners to facilitate early intervention and support.
  • Develop and implement return to work plans using SMART principles, collaborating with vocational providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to negotiate strategies, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
  • Educate stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and available support services.

About You

  • Previous experience in injury rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling, or workers' compensation claims management.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing return to work plans and case conferencing.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A strategic mindset and approach to work.
  • A strong sense of team and collaboration.
  • A resilient attitude.
