About the Opportunity
Gallagher Bassett is seeking a skilled Return to Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will play a critical role in supporting the recovery and return to work of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic return to work and recovery advice to support the claims team in achieving optimal outcomes for our customers.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including medical professionals and vocational rehabilitation providers, to develop and implement effective return to work plans.
- Support the development and implementation of case management strategies for complex claims, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support and guidance throughout their recovery journey.
- Educate and inform stakeholders on the return to work process and legislative requirements, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide the highest level of service to our customers.
- Collaborate with the claims team to identify and implement opportunities for education, benefits, and other rehabilitation and/or vocational support to create positive impact on return to work outcomes.
About You
- You will have previous experience and/or qualifications in injury rehabilitation, vocational counselling, or allied health, and a strong understanding of the return to work process and legislative requirements.
- You will possess highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- You will have a strategic mindset and approach to work, with a strong sense of team and collaboration.
- You will be able to work in a sensitive environment with compassion and professionalism, and have a resilient attitude.
