Executive Chef Position at Luxury Hotel

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our culinary team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

  • Main Duties:
  • Responsible for dinner services and events for assigned section
  • Maintain equipment to good standard with minimum breakage
  • Ensure hygiene standards are met in all areas
  • Store dairy products, fish, meats, dry goods and vegetables correctly
  • Prepare mise-en-place for assigned section
  • Assist in quality control of items
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate in commercial cookery
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Safe and accurate knife skills
  • Experience in different cooking methods
  • Desirable: Experience as Commis Chef in 1 Hatted restaurant or similar environment
