The In-Room Dining Manager oversees all facets of the department. This role must maintain and control a high level of guest service through consistent and thoughtful coordination with the kitchen and demonstrated by team members.

This inspirational leadership role provides clear vision and direction to team members to ensure delivery of our brand, values, and vision, creating an amazing experience for our guests and team members.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily operations of the department and ensure compliance with service standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure flawless, upscale, professional, and high-class guest service experiences as a role model and expert in all in-room dining-related aspects.
  • Be an exemplary role model in inspiring team members through strong demonstration of our culture and service philosophy.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communication for operational issues, serving as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support.
  • Maintain cost control for operational expenses and payroll.
  • Assist with recruitment and retention strategies for the success of the department.

Talent Profile:

  • 2 years prior experience in a similar role/capacity at luxury hotels/resorts or renowned venues.
  • F&B/Room Division related experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of restaurant management systems (e.g. POS, Reservation System, Purchasing System).
  • Excellent communicator with personable character and passion in guest relations management.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
