Senior Enterprise Strategist

The Director Strategy, Economics, Insights and Reporting plays a pivotal role in setting an organization's direction by leading the development of long-range strategy, delivering enterprise reporting, integrating performance intelligence and providing robust advice to guide decision-making.
This senior leadership role brings together strategic foresight, planning, engagement and enterprise reporting into a consolidated capability that supports senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and integrate an organization's long-range strategy and planning frameworks.
- Deliver high-quality internal and external reporting.
- Interpret complex data and policy signals and provide system-level advice.
- Offer authoritative guidance on economic trends.
- Develop insights to inform strategic messaging and support communication.
- Establish and continuously improve enterprise performance measurement and evaluation frameworks.
- Provide strategic foresight through scenario modelling and risk-informed planning.
- Steward an insight ecosystem – connecting data holders and reducing duplication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to publish research that contributes to policy debate.
- Partner with agencies to ensure an organization is positioned to respond to national policy agendas.
- Represent an organization in external forums.
- Build strategic capability across the organization.
Travel will be a requirement for this role.
Qualifications and Experience- Post-graduate qualifications in economics, strategy, data science or business administration.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector strategy, performance reporting or regulatory reform.
- High-level critical thinking and policy modelling capabilities.
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and executive advising.
- Demonstrated credibility in domestic and international forums.
- Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams.
