Strategic Portfolio Leader

This is a unique opportunity to work across digital, innovation, strategic projects and corporate business services ensuring we deliver the right work at the right time to meet customer, shareholder, and strategic expectations.

  • Oversee and continuously improve the non-network project portfolio
  • Manage enterprise portfolio services including the enterprise value and prioritisation framework
  • Work with key portfolio leaders to build and maintain a prioritised rolling 5-year program plan for the non-network portfolio
  • Align budgets and capacity planning to the program of work to achieve long-term business objectives
  • Monitor portfolio health and address risks gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Provide insights and advice to senior leaders on planning and prioritisation and support investment decisions with clear data-driven advice aligned to strategy
  • Drive collaboration across the business for aligned delivery

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker and collaborative leader who can bring structure transparency and alignment to a dynamic and diverse portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of program and project lifecycle management and enterprise governance
  • Experience leading through others rather than owning individual projects directly
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and work cross-functionally to solve problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative approach to leadership with the ability to uplift capability across your team and the business
