- Establish and continuously improve enterprise performance measurement and evaluation frameworks.
- Provide strategic foresight through scenario modeling and risk-informed planning.
- Steward the agency's insight ecosystem – connecting data holders, surfacing strategic questions, and reducing duplication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the academic community to publish research that contributes to policy debate and establishes the agency as a thought leader in regulation and financial services.
- Partner with agencies such as Treasury, Finance, and APSC to ensure the agency is positioned to respond to and influence national policy agendas.
- Represent the agency in external forums and participate in relevant communities of practice to ensure the agency remains informed of best practices in data analytics and economic modeling.
- Build strategic capability across the organization by modeling analytical rigor, collaboration, and clear direction.
- Lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team with a shared commitment to integrity, evidence-based decision-making, and public service outcomes.

Required Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess:
- Post-graduate qualifications in economics, strategy, data science, business administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector strategy, performance reporting, or regulatory reform.
- High-level critical thinking and policy modeling capabilities.
- Strong track record in senior stakeholder engagement and executive advising.
- Demonstrated established credibility in both domestic and international forums.
- Proven capability to lead and integrate cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-trust environments.
