Strategic Portfolio Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced portfolio manager to lead our non-network project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of program and project lifecycle management, as well as experience in enterprise governance.

  • Develop and maintain a prioritised rolling 5-year program plan for the non-network portfolio
  • Oversee and continuously improve TasNetworks' non-network project portfolio
  • Manage enterprise portfolio services, including the enterprise value and prioritisation framework
  • Work with key portfolio leaders to build and maintain a prioritised rolling 5-year program plan for the non-network portfolio
  • Align budgets and capacity planning to the program of work to achieve long-term business objectives
  • Monitor portfolio health and address risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Provide insights and advice to senior leaders on planning and prioritisation and support investment decisions with clear, data-driven advice aligned to strategy
Key Qualifications And Experience

A proven people leader with a focus on achieving great outcomes in partnership with your team and stakeholders:

  • At least 10 years' experience in portfolio management, investment planning or similar areas
  • Tertiary qualifications, ideally in digital, commercial or business disciplines (or equivalent experience)
  • Formal project or program management certifications
  • Experience working in the energy sector and/or a regulated business environment
