
Enterprise Portfolio Leader Position

A seasoned leader is required to drive TasNetworks' non-network project portfolio forward.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional collaboration and leadership skills.
- They will oversee and continuously improve the enterprise portfolio services, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategy.
- Working closely with key stakeholders, they will build and maintain a prioritized 5-year program plan for the non-network portfolio.
- Aligning budgets, regulatory allowances, and capacity planning with the program of work will be essential in achieving long-term business objectives.
- Monitoring portfolio health and addressing risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities will be a critical responsibility.
- Providing insights and advice to senior leaders on planning and prioritization, as well as supporting investment decisions with clear data-driven recommendations, will be a key aspect of the role.
- Driving collaboration across the business to ensure aligned delivery will be crucial.
- A proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders is essential.
- Strong understanding of program and project lifecycle management, as well as enterprise governance, is necessary.
- Experience leading through others, rather than owning individual projects directly, is preferred.
- Confidence to challenge constructively and work cross-functionally to solve problems is vital.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical audiences is crucial.
- A collaborative approach to leadership, with the ability to uplift capability across your team and the business, is highly regarded.
- A proven people leader with a focus on achieving great outcomes in partnership with your team and stakeholders is essential.
- Over 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years in portfolio management, investment planning, or similar areas, is preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications in digital, commercial, or business disciplines (or equivalent experience) are desirable.
- Formal project or program management certifications are highly valued.
- Experience working in the energy sector and/or a regulated business environment is beneficial.
