Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview:
Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is a leading provider of heavy machinery and equipment. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
This is a 2-day per week position located in Fairfield, NSW. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and Verify Invoices: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare Payment Runs: Including checks and electronic transfers
- Reconcile Vendor Statements: Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain Accurate Records: Of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with Month-End Closing Activities: Including account reconciliations and reporting
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Address inquiries related to invoices and payments
- Support Audits: Provide necessary documentation and information
Benefits:
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits such as income protection insurance, recognition and rewards, and career development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position

- Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite
