Senior Manager Insurance and Financial Risk

This is a leadership role within the insurance department. The position plays a vital part in ensuring the company's risk management strategy is effective.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for designing, assessing and evolving how insurance risk is understood and managed across the business. This includes championing a culture where risk is seen as a business enabler, not just a control function.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in risk management and experience in general insurance industry is mandatory. Relevant tertiary education in quantitative fields such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or Economics is required.

The Senior Manager will also be responsible for bringing technical expertise to dimensionalise stakeholder engagement, engaging, educating and influencing senior leaders and SMEs, bringing insurance risk to the front of strategic conversations.
