About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced educator to join our team in the Tadpoles Room, caring for children aged 0-1. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment: Ensuring the room is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum: Incorporating sensory play, art and crafts, language development exercises, storytelling, and structured play.
- Facilitating learning and play: Creating an engaging environment that encourages exploration and fosters curiosity.
- Providing care and support: Assisting children with basic needs, such as feeding, diapering, and toileting, while helping them develop independence and self-help skills.
We offer an attractive salary range of $31-$36 per hour, plus superannuation. Additionally, you can expect:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A current Diploma in ECE (or ACECQA equivalent)
- First aid/CPR/Child protection/Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Working with Children Check
- Experience working in the Baby Room (desired but not essential)
- Two professional references from your most recent employer
