About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to work within the Tadpoles Room with children aged 0 – 1. The ideal candidate will have a calm and nurturing temperament to work alongside a small team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment by ensuring the room is clean, organised, and free from hazards.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that includes sensory play, art and crafts, language development exercises, storytelling, and structured play.
  • Facilitate learning and play by creating an engaging and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and fosters curiosity.
  • Provide care and support by assisting children with their basic needs, such as feeding, diapering, and toileting, and helping them develop independence, self-help skills, and personal hygiene routines.

About You
  • You must currently reside in Australia and hold a valid VISA with working rights.
  • A Diploma in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent) is required.
  • First aid / CPR / Child protection / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A Current Working with Children Check is necessary.
  • Experience working in the Baby Room is highly desired.
  • Two professional references from your most recent employer are required.
