We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage, mentor, and guide our team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. As the Childcare Director I Non for Profit I 120k + super, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our centre, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of enquiry and learning.

The successful candidate will have exceptional knowledge and experience in leading teams of professional staff, developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicating vision and goals to drive growth and improvement. They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations, and a deep commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing programs, systems, and operational processes to ensure the successful running of the centre
  • Monitoring and maintaining reporting requirements, ensuring timely completion and submission
  • Maintaining positive relationships and effective communication with suppliers
  • Developing and maintaining open and positive professional relationships with families, children, and staff
  • Providing support, guidance, and mentoring to staff members
  • Managing the centre's budget and expenditure within set parameters
  • E nsuring centre operations align with policies, procedures, licensing, legislation, and regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA
  • 2 years' experience as a Centre Director
  • A current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis Training, and Asthma Management Training
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving team performance and growth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the National Quality Standards and national assessment and rating system

The salary for this position is estimated to be up to $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation, depending on experience.
