Job Title: Industrial Equipment Specialist

A leading food manufacturer in Sydney, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Industrial Equipment Specialist to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery.

To achieve this goal, you will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will also troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes to prevent downtime.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce the risk of breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.

You will work closely with other Industrial Equipment Specialists and the production team to address any mechanical issues that may impact production. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

It is essential that you have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Your experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues efficiently will be invaluable in this role.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Trade qualification in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Specialist, ideally within the food manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
