Mechanical Equipment Specialist
Role Overview:As a Mechanical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems. This is a full-time on-site role incorporating 12hr shifts on a 24/7 roster located at an airport.
Main Responsibilities:- Conducting mechanical maintenance inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and components
- Ensuring compliance with WHS standards
- Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
- Strong mechanical background working on industrial automated equipment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical)
- Experience in logistics, postal sorting and baggage handling systems
- Experience with maintaining mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)
