Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on baggage handling systems.

You will undertake tasks such as mechanical repairs, fault finding on automated systems, and using data analytics to enhance system performance.

  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine checks and carry out repairs on mechanical equipment
  • Fault Finding: Troubleshoot issues with automated systems and identify solutions
  • Data Analysis: Use data analytics tools to optimize system performance and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
  • At least 3 to 5 years post trade experience as a Service Technician
  • Strong mechanical background working on industrial automated equipment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical)
  • Experience in logistics, postal sorting and baggage handling systems highly regarded
  • Experience with maintaining mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)
