The City of Palmerston is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Manager Organisational Performance to lead the development and implementation of strategic plans and reporting frameworks. This key leadership role will provide vision, leadership, and governance of the city's ICT, data, and digital strategies to support the delivery of the strategic plan and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organisation on best practices for strategic planning and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and implement effective governance structures and processes to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of ICT, data, and digital strategies to support the delivery of the strategic plan.
  • Provide vision and leadership for the development and implementation of business excellence programs.
  • Manage and deliver internal audits, assess, and evaluate risks and business control practices.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the organisation on corporate performance reporting and governance issues.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Public Administration, Business Management, Accountancy, Law, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of seven years relevant work experience in a similar, large complex environment.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead diverse and dynamic teams.
  • Substantial knowledge of corporate performance reporting and governance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency in budget and resource management.
