About the Role

The City of Palmerston is seeking a highly capable leader to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer. As the head of the Council's operations, you will work closely with Elected Members, the community, and other key stakeholders to implement the strategic goals of the Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Council's operations and implement the strategic goals of the Council
  • Manage a $48 million operational budget
  • Lead the Executive Leadership Team to achieve the objectives of the Community Plan

Requirements

  • Significant experience at the senior executive level, ideally within Local Government
  • Strong strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and foster positive stakeholder relationships
  • Financial acumen and understanding of the legislative and governance requirements of Local Government
