Key Responsibilities

  • Teach effective swimming and water safety skills to children and adults.
The Role

This is a casual position that requires you to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. You must be empathetic to the needs of the classes and have a passion for swimming and making children safer around water.

You will need exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to ensure our members, patrons, and parents gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from our services.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun, with a flair for working with children. You should also have excellent verbal communication skills and an understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility.

Your ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team will be highly valued. A current First Aid (Level 2) certificate and CPR certification are essential requirements for this role. Additionally, a Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check are mandatory. A Current Swim Teacher Certificate is also required.

Requirements
