Full Time Head Coach(s) **(Applications Close 1st of June)**: - Assistant Coaches (full-time and casual positions available) Rackley Swimming is very proud of the world-class coaching team employed across the CVM centres in South East Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to build one of Rackley's **newest squad programs**. We are dedicated to supporting our coaches, fostering the development of swimming, and actively promoting performance and participation pathways as we develop regional swimmers for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. **About the roles**: The coaching roles will encompass key responsibilities, including: - Program Design and Implementation: planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs that address swimmers' physiological and psychological needs across various skill levels. - Competition support: Create and communicate seasonal target meet calendars. Attend local, state, and national meets to support swimmers as needed. Collaborate with the swim club to design and promote club nights to encourage strong participation. - Swimmer Development: Foster a positive and supportive training environment, encourage swimmers' progress, and facilitate a smooth transition between the Learn-to-Swim and Squad programs. - Schools and Holiday Programs - Support the delivery of coaching for School swimming and holiday clinics. - Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with coaching and facility staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching across all programs. - Community Engagement: Promote club participation and encourage swimmers to participate in club activities and local, state, and national competitions. Attending these to support swimmers' development - Communication: Maintain positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and the wider community. - Aquatics Coaching Professional Development: Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in aquatics coaching. **About you**: We are looking for highly motivated coaches who can build and balance the multifaceted nature of the role. Key traits and experience are seeking include: - Experience with developing a community program and athlete development pathways. - Prior coaching experience - Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with swimmers and stakeholders and take them on their journey to develop swimmers to their full potential. - Strong communication, team and collaboration skills, willingness to work with the site team, engage and work closely with swim teachers **The qualifications required for this role are**: - Coaching accreditation - ASCTA Competitive Strokes and “Development/Bronze” or Higher - Current Blue Card - Current Lifeguard Qualifications - Willing to undergo a National Police Check **About City Venue Management**: At City Venue Management (CVM), our success hinges on our people.
