About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Room Leader at our Sydney campuses. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education, development, and care to our children, while delivering an exceptional customer experience and partnership experience with our families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Safety and Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of our children at all times by actively supervising and interacting with them.
  • Education and Care: Provide high-quality education and care to our children, ensuring they are educated and cared for to the highest standard.
  • Relationship Building: Build trusting relationships with each child, interacting with them in a warm and responsive way.
  • Environment Creation: Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for our children, providing interesting learning environments in line with our Grow curriculum.
  • Documentation and Planning: Document children's learning through our OAC Connect app, supporting and mentoring other team members, and creating and setting up learning environments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure our children are inspired to learn in a safe and exciting learning environment.
Requirements
  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized Registered Training Organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualifications)
  • Minimum of two years full-time relevant work experience
  • A genuine passion for Early Childhood education and development
  • A creative, supportive, and cooperative team player
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
