About the Role:

As the Head of Strategy at Anglicare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future direction. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, you will collaborate with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to create strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive innovation. This is a rare chance to make a meaningful social impact, especially for senior Australians, by contributing to transformative initiatives across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Corporate Strategy: Develop and implement long-term strategies, backed by in-depth market analysis and industry trend assessments.
  • Business Planning & Performance: Spearhead business planning cycles and create KPIs to track performance across the organization.
  • Corporate Development & M&A: Identify potential partnerships and acquisition opportunities to strengthen Anglicare's market position.
  • Innovation & Technology: Stay on top of industry innovations to drive digital transformation in aged care and community services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate strategic objectives to both internal and external stakeholders, presenting recommendations to the Executive team and Board.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dynamic strategy team, fostering an environment where team members thrive and grow.

What You'll Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in leadership roles in corporate strategy or management consulting.
  • A strategic, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing senior management.
  • Passion for improving the lives of older Australians, with knowledge of aged care being advantageous.
  • Commitment to Anglicare Sydney's mission and values, including a Christian faith.
