About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Team Leader to join our Children Services team at YMCA NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service that aligns with our values and principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Coordinator in developing and implementing programs that promote the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging programs that meet the needs of our children and families
  • Work closely with Y NSW families, schools, and charity partners to turn our global mission into local action
  • Manage a dynamic team of Educators, providing guidance and support to ensure individual growth and development
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the Y NSW's learning and development library and national/international opportunities
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in leading others and managing a team
  • Ability to critically reflect and develop innovative learning programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support relationships within the team and with families and schools
  • Proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent
  • Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • HLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR
